Learn how to use a Risograph Digital Duplication Machine in this Riso 101 Workshop! No experience necessary! Have a budding artist in your family? Bring them with you and collaborate on a print together, or come on your own and make new friends while you work on your own design :)
This small group intro class encourages a hands-on approach to learning and will cover best practices in:
All students will produce an edition of 50 tri-color, letter-sized (8.5 X 11”) prints to take home, sell or gift to friends.
You may bring in a completed artwork, either physical for scanning; a high quality file via USB, airdrop, or email; or create a design in class (basic materials available, but we encourage you to bring your own). Designs may also be emailed in advance as a 300-600 dpi PDF, PNG or JPG .

Instruction will begin around 12:15 to allow time for parking, browsing and getting last minute coffee and snacks :)
Please be aware that if everyone has print images ready to go at the start of class, there will be a waiting period to use the machines. There is plenty to read and look at but it may be nice to have drawing tools or a laptop to occupy any downtime.

If sign ups for a particular day are less than 3 participants, you may receive a shorter but more personalized instruction time, but class will still be held :)
