SCANNNERS is a community event space.
Most events are hosted in SCANNNERS Archive, located through the BAB & Friends Gift Shop at 3131 Adams Ave, San Diego.
The majority of our events are free, donation based or accessibly priced. No one will be turned away for lack of funds (NOTAFLOF)
With the Zine and Ephemera archive as a centerpiece, SCANNNERS is committed to hosting events concentrated around education beyond the limits of the institution. SCANNNERS is focused on embodying a DIY ethos by organizing events that are collaborative, varied in structure and topic, accessibly priced, not limited to traditional understandings of teacher and student, and funded by the community in service to the community, with a goal of enacting anti-capitalist practices. Our current event offerings include but are not limited to: music, art workshops, zine & print workshops, archiving, discussion & lecture. We look forward to seeing you soon!
